People Who Help Us Matching Up
The children had pictures of different people who help us, but they were cut in half and stuck to 2 separate blocks. The children had to find the 2 halves, match them up and then identify who it is and what they do. They liked building a tower with all the different pictures of people who help us.

The children had to match all the items up with the correct person who helps us that uses them.

Sentence and Picture Matching
The children were read a sentence off the card and they had to work out who would be able to help in that situation and find the picture of them and match it with the sentence card.

I Spy
The children had great fun identify the different people help us and saying what it is that they do to help. To finish the activity, they had to count how many of each of the people there were on the sheet.

Vehicle Pairs
The children enjoyed playing pairs with each other. They took it in turns to say who’s vehicle it was and then match the picture to the shadow of it. The worked really hard to complete the activity and were great and taking turns.

Peg the Correct Number of People Who Help Us
To complete this activity, the children needed to identify the people who help us, count how many there are and peg the correct number on the card. Whist completing the activity we were talking about what it is that each one does to help us in our community.

Cutting and Sticking Activity
For this activity, the children had to work out why the person needed help, cut out the person that could help them and stick it down on the sheet. They really enjoyed cutting out the people.

People Who Help us and their Cars
The children had great fun talking about the different people, what they do and the cars they drive. The children shared lots of experiences they have had with seeing and speaking to these people.

The children had to identify the person that helps us on the card and match it with the place that they work. The children enjoyed talking about the different people that help us and what they do.
