As a result of the LPS Review System, our procedures, policies and educational approaches may require amendment or refinement in order to impact positively on standards and wellbeing.

Policy & Procedure Review meetings are held with the relevant group within the community periodically throughout the year.

Where required, these policies and procedures are ratified and agreed with relevant members of the school community.

For example, Lesson observations and Workbook Scrutiny identified the need to improve and refine the following policies and approaches:

• AfL Booklet

• Numeracy Scheme

• Writing Scheme

• Oracy Booklet Continuum

• Weekly Planning

• Presentation Policy

All statutory documentation and policies are reviewed annually by the Monitoring Committee, an agreed delegation from the full Governing Body.  Outcomes from reviews are shared with the full Governing Body.
