AoLE Target:  

Improving pedagogical practices in Literacy that develop phonological awareness and reading skills.


Actions:

  1. Provide ongoing professional learning for all staff to develop consistent approaches and practices.
  2. Communicate our new systems and practices with all members of the LPS community.
  3. Monitor progress and impact on learner progress, half-termly across the school, using learning walks, pupil voice, observations and professional dialogue.
  4. Review intervention systems and how these provisions are impacting learner progress.
  5. Evaluate the impact on learners over the full year, using in-house assessment systems and generate next steps for improvement.
