The children worked together to sort the actions on the cards into 2 groups, one being something that a good friend would do and the other being something a good friend wouldn’t do.
The children selected different items from around the room and had to predict whether they thought the item would float or sink, before putting it in the water to find out.
The children spoke about different dangers in and around water and then came up with ideas of how we could stay safe.
The children had to sort the animals into groups of those that live in the water and those that live on land.
