Help us win an exclusive school sports kit and £20,000! 

At LPS, we’re committed to healthy living. Whether that’s encouraging healthy snacks in the classroom, running after school sports clubs or our Happy Healthy Helpers running their healthy tuck shop, staff and pupils alike are all making an effort to make sure we’re all healthy. 

As part of this, we want to let you all know about the fantastic opportunity we have to win a school sports kit, as well as be entered into a draw to win £20,000 for our school.  

Aldi are running their Kit for Schools competition throughout September, which is in support of their Get Set to Eat Fresh campaign. This campaign has been created in partnership with Aldi and the British Olympic Association, using Team GB athletes to inspire learners aged 5-14 to eat healthily and cook for themselves. 

So, what do we have to do? When you shop in Aldi and spend over £30, you’ll receive a Team GB athlete sticker. Save them up, because if you bring them to the school, we can put them on our special Kits for Schools poster. Once we reach 300 stickers, we can send off our poster and we’ll receive our sports kit. We’ll also be entered into the draw for £20,000, which we can use to buy resources that will make for a great learning experience in the school. Don’t worry if you have repeats of stickers – they all count towards the 300. 

You don’t have to be a learner at LPS to get involved – let your friends and family know and they can also send in their stickers too! If you know anyone who loves to shop at Aldi, make sure that they save up their stickers to help us reach our goal. 

All you need to do is pop your stickers in the designated bucket in the foyer at the school and we’ll send it the poster off once it’s filled. It’s a great way for us to promote just how important healthy living is while receiving great resources that can help us all become healthier and happier. It’s an incredibly important part of our values at LPS, so we want to make sure all learners have the best opportunities possible. 

The competition will end on 3rd November, so make sure to bring yours in before so that you don’t miss out. Remember, we need 300 stickers to get our kit, so every sticker counts!
