Home Learning Area Tasks for the week of: 15.06.20
Maths: This week I would like you to learn about symmetry. To start, I'd like you to watch this. Can you use the butterfly templates below to create symmetrical patterns? Have a go at the Symmetry Matching game.
Reading: Monkey Puzzle. Listen to the story and then answer these questions. Record your answers.
1. Who had the monkey lost?
2. Who offered to help the monkey?
3. Which animal did the butterfly go to whose tail coils around trees?
4. How do you think the monkey feels when he can't find his mum?
Lot's of you have signed up to Oxford Owl, where you can find some Biff, Chip and Kipper ebooks. This week, choose a book to read at your correct reading level.

Phonics: This week we are going to be practicing our blends. Watch the Jolly Phonics video. Can you practice these new sounds? Can you think of any words that have these sounds? Tell your family. Record some of your new sounds and words. Use the useful websites for songs and games we use in class- I have added new phonics resources here too!
