Home Learning Area Tasks for the week of: 11.05.20
Maths: This week I would like you to practice your number bonds to 10. Use this song to remind you! Have a go at the lesson and game below. Write number bonds to 10 in your homework books- practicing your number formation. Continue to watch Number blocks- Ten.
Can you join in with Miss Richards' and Miss Gibbs' Months of the Year Macarena! Record yourself joining in!
Reading: Giglets- With your family, read the story. Complete the tasks attached to the story!
Lot's of you have signed up to Oxford Owl, where you can find some Biff, Chip and Kipper ebooks. This week, choose a book to read at your correct reading level.

I have loved all the photos of your bug hotels this week. Now I would like you to record yourself explaining what you did. Can you include connectives such as first, next, finally? I'm looking forward to seeing all your videos!
Phonics: Sound of the week- ‘y’. Can you complete the below nelson handwriting sheet in your homework book? Write the sentence ‘Yusuf likes yo-yos’.
Can you find things in your house/ garden that begin with y? Tell your family what you have found!
Can you spell any words beginning with y? Write them in your homework books! I have uploaded a list of new high frequency words below for you to practice!
