Topic: Designing your own Theme Park

 

It is up to you how you go about completing this task. You could:

  • Download the Word version below and work on the document
  • Create your own document to work on
  • Use pen and paper to complete the tasks

Task 5 – Profit and Loss

 

Calculate how much money you have made, or lost, during the first month.

 

Each visitor to your theme park will spend:

  • £4 at each café you have
  • £3 at each shop you have
  • £1 at every ice cream stand you have

 

Work out your total profit from the admission price, cafes and shops. Now take away your total costs that you have already worked out (Task 2 – Daily Cost) and find your profit or loss for each day. (a loss will be shown as a negative number, e.g. -£150)
