MATHS HOMEWORK 10.1.20

Let's practise counting in 2,5 and 10s! This week we have been learning about multiples.

MATHS HOMEWORK 17.1.20

This week your homework is on MyMaths. Log on to complete your task. If you have any issues with My Maths please let me know. Don't forget to keep practising your 2,5 and 10 times table too :)

MATHS HOMEWORK 24.1.20

This week we have been adding using mental strategies.

Some of us have added ten more to a number using a 100 square to help us e.g. 35+ 10=

Some of us have added 20,30 and 40 more to a two digit number e.g. 25+30=

Some of us have added 21, 31 and 41 to a two digit number e.g. 25+31= (25+30=55 then add 1 more)

Practise some of these at home. Here is a link to our splat square if you would like to use it.

Well done, you have all worked hard!

MATHS HOMEWORK 31.1.20

This week we have been rounding to the nearest ten. Play the game below to practise this new concept.

Start off by clicking - 'use number line' and 'numbers to 99'.

If you are confident, you can try without the number line or move on to rounding numbers up to 999.

MATHS HOMEWORK 7.2.20

Choose an operation and practise your mental maths skills! Have fun!

MATHS HOMEWORK 14.2.20

Over half-term practise your times tables. We should all be comfortable with our 2's, 5's and 10's now. If not, try to focus on these.

If you are happy with the 2s,5s and 10s, move onto your 3s and 4s.

We will have a quiz on 2s, 5s and 10s after half term.

MATHS HOMEWORK 28.2.20

This week we have been doing column addition. Try some at home.

Some for us have done:

Some of us have worked on carrying!

MATHS HOMEWORK 6.3.20

This week we have been adding two amounts up to £1.

Try setting up a shop at home. Make labels for your items and pay for two items.

e.g. a carrot is 40p and a potato is 35p. How much is it altogether?

Some of us have been adding up the two amounts and also finding the change from £1.
