MATHS HOMEWORK 14.9.18
In maths this week our focus has been place value. We have been looking at 'teen' numbers and how they are made up of tens and units. We have also worked on numbers to 30, partitioning them into tens and units e.g. 23= 20+3 (two tens and 3 units).
Play the Shark place value game at home to practise your place value.
MATHS HOMEWORK 21.9.18
This week we have been adding two numbers together using tens and units to help us.
e.g. 14+ 12= e.g. 21+11=
1. Try some of these at home with your family.
2. Practise counting in tens. Do it quietly, in a deep voice, in a baby voice etc.
MATHS HOMEWORK 1.10.18
This week in maths we have been identifying coins and making amounts up to £1.00.
We have used our knowledge of tens and units to match them with coins e.g. 22p = 2 tens and 2 units.
Try the game below to match coins to amounts.
MATHS HOMEWORK 5.10.18
Practise your number bonds to 10 / 20.
e.g. 5+5 , 6+4 , 2+8 etc
How fast can you recall your number bonds? Play the game below to help you learn your number bonds.
MATHS HOMEWORK 12.10.18
This week we have been naming and classifying 2D shapes. We have been counting their sides and labelling them. We know that there are regular and irregular 2D shapes. Play the game below to recap over this week's learning.
MATHS HOMEWORK 19.10.18
This week we have been identifying patterns in number. We found that the lights on Ziggy's spaceship were increasing by 2 each time!
Now practise at home counting in twos in readiness for work on your two times table.
MATHS HOMEWORK 26.10.18
Start to learn your 2 times table over half term ready for a little quiz after half term.
